Congratulations Brad
Brad Quin has been recognized as the Senior Public Service Volunteer of the Year by Loudoun Cares. You’ll recognize him around town as a member of the Purcellville Volunteer Fire Company. Brad has volunteered thousands of hours to the Purcellville Volunteer Fire Company (PVFC) as its President, Membership Chair, Driver/Technician and Liaison to the Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue System. Since joining PVFC in 2007, he has donated countless hours each year to ensure the success of the local volunteer fire company as it provides service to the citizens of Purcellville and surrounding communities. Brad donates his time to the community by participating in children’s birthday parties at the fire station, reading books to children in the classroom and numerous public education events around town and around the county. As President of the PVFC, Brad arranges for and presides over the monthly Board of Directors’ and Membership Meetings — tasks that he has done despite the challenges that COVID has had on our daily lives. Brad serves as chair of the PVFC Membership Committee, recruiting, interviewing and on-boarding new company members. In addition, as driver/technician, Brad is an active operational member of the company, which means responding to calls with his duty crews. And, if that’s not enough, he has served on a number of county-level committees, helping to guide the Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue system for future success. Brad was honored at the Loudoun Cares Outstanding Volunteer Awards event. Loudoun Cares is a non profit organization that connects volunteers with organizations in need. On behalf of the members of the Purcellville Volunteer Fire Company and the citizens of our community, thank you Brad for your service and congratulations on this well deserved honor.
