‘Crocs Care’ Dinner Donation
Moms and children from Ken Culbert Elementary School’s ‘Crocs Care’ program delivered a home cooked meal to Station 2 this week. They will deliver meals on the first Tuesday of each month to support first responders working out of Station 2.
Their program of community support, named after the school mascot (crocodiles), is intended to be a support and educational program and an extension of their support for other community service organizations like food banks.
They delivered enough home prepared food to feed all the volunteers and career staff working in Station 2 as firefighters and EMS personnel. Three delicious entrees, salads and three desserts and bread fed 20 people.
We are grateful to the moms and children involved in this wonderful program for the support provided us at Station 2.
