The Purcellville Volutneer Fire Company responded to a 2nd alarm fire in downtown Leesburg which saw dozens of firefighters along with several stations from the east and west ends of the county to battle an apartment fire in downtown Leesburg. First arriving units encountered many pedestrians and the Leesburg Car show upon arrival. Tower 602 along with other crews worked to knock out the fire while figherfighters from other departments worked to prevent the fire from engulfing other businesses and buildings.
