We are there when you need us…
When an emergency arises, you reach for the phone and dial 911. You are not focused on what wheels are placed into motion as you make the urgent call. You just know that the call will be answered. Chances are it’s your friends and neighbors who are at your door — highly trained and dedicated first responders — and Volunteers. We freely give of our time and talents to help support the well being of this place we all call home.
Now, we need your help…
The Purcellville Volunteer Fire Company is part of the Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue System. We are proud to say that we own and maintain our own trucks and equipment; that we outfit our Volunteers with protective gear; and that we pay the overhead to keep wheels rolling on our emergency equipment. It’s a tradition begun in 1923 and continues to this day in our community.
Please help…
To operate, we raise funds through events like our Christmas Tree Sales and other community events. But those alone are not enough to support this vital service to the community. We still need to turn to our neighbors for their financial support.
